AUTHOR INFORMATION:
Author Registration Deadline: 27 September 2023
ICSOS 2023 is an in-person event. As such, it is required that all papers be presented in-person.
A paper covered with an Author registration can be presented by any of the co-authors of that paper provided that he/she is also registered to the conference (any registration category). By default, the presenter is the author who registered at Author rate. For a smooth organization of the program, any changes must be notified to the TPC Co-Chairs.
Registration transfers can also be requested by contacting: Shirley Cisneros, s.cisneros@comsoc.org until 6 October, 2023.
If a registration transfer is requested, it is mandatory that all papers co-authored by the initial registration remain covered with an Author registration.
- To be published in the IEEE ICSOS 2023 Conference Proceedings and the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, at least one author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference a full rate as ComSoc Member, IEEE/Sister Society Member or Non-Member and the paper must be presented at the conference.
-Nonrefundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication ready version of the paper. For authors with multiple accepted papers, one full registration is valid for up to three (3) papers. Please, do not share your registration confirmation code with anyone else. Although the code enables submission of up to three papers, it can only be used once, by you, to create an author account. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the IEEE ICSOS 2023 Conference Proceedings and will be submitted for publication in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
-Full papers describing original research, written in English. The suggested size is four to six (4-6) pages. Papers up to eight (8) printed pages (10-point font), including figures, and tables will be accepted while incurring additional page charges.
-Student and Life Member registration is not valid as an author registration.
-The maximum paper length is ten pages (the minimum is three pages). All figures, tables, references, etc. are included in the page limit.
CONFERENCE POLICIES:
Cancellation Policy: Non author refund/cancellation requests must be provided in writing and received before Friday, 29 September 2023. Please contact Shirley Cisneros, s.cisneros@comsoc.org for cancellations. A USD150 cancellation fee (per registration) will be applied if a cancellation notice that is not received before the above due date.
